Talks underway: Tottenham senior player meets sporting director, wants exit sealed within weeks - report

Moussa Sissoko has held initial talks with Marseille as he starts initial steps to quit Tottenham for a new club, according to a report.
French publication Journal du Dimanche claim the France international met with Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta in early April for preliminary discussions and has also spoken to the club’s veteran left-back Patrice Evra about life at the Stade Velodrome.
It is said that Sissoko made it clear he is open to joining the Ligue 1 giants and that he is keen to leave Tottenham after just one season.
Journal du Dimanche report that the 27-year-old was told during a recent phone conversation with France manager Didier Deschamps that he has to be playing regular club football to make the national squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Sissoko is keen to find a new club and for his summer exit from Spurs to be sealed before he heads off for his summer vacation to Mail at the end of June.

Marseille are willing to pay £21.5million for Sissoko, which is what the French newspaper claim Tottenham initially paid to prise the player from Newcastle United last August, even though the final fee is expected to be £30million.
There is also interest in the attacking midfielder from AC Milan, Inter Milan and clubs from the super-rich Chinese league as well as Premier League outfits.
Sissoko has made little impact at White Hart Lane and has struggled for game time in the team that finished second in the Premier League.
