This West Ham player has downed tools and the club should not pay his wages

Dimitri Payet has downed tools at West Ham after manager Slaven Bilic dropped the bombshell that he doesn’t want to play for the club.
In simple words, if he doesn’t want to represent the badge and its supporters then he shouldn’t be paid his highly lucrative wages.
The 29-year-old is the prime example of what is wrong with the modern day footballer, happy to take the big money, but not bothered about representing those who earn him a very wealthy living every week.
The Hammers are in a relegation scrap this season and their best player from last season has quite clearly decided to give up when the going has become tough.
Many would let Payet leave but in the meantime, he should be forced to train on his own and sold by the club.

Payet must understand that West Ham gave him the platform to showcase his talent to the footballing world.
Since his arrival last summer, he earned a call from his home country where he ended up representing France at Euro 2016.
During his time in Ligue 1, he failed to get this recognition despite displaying the same attacking flair from either a well-executed free-kick or a beautifully assisted pass.
Either way, he should not be allowed to wear the colours of the club again as no player is bigger than the name on the badge.
