Thomas Frank already learning from Ange Postecoglou problem at Spurs as update emerges
Tottenham Hotspur will travel north of the Arctic Circle to play Bodo-Glimt in the second game of their Champions League campaign.
Tottenham sacked Ange Postecoglou in the summer of 2025 despite the Australian delivering Europa League glory to the club.
Thomas Frank took over at Tottenham, and the Lilywhites have looked resurgent under the Dane in the early stages of the season.
In their last outing in the Champions League, Tottenham beat Villarreal 1-0, thanks to a blunder from the visiting goalkeeper Luiz Junior.

Thomas Frank takes strong position on Radu Dragusin return
Tottenham drew 1-1 with Wolves on Saturday, with Frank’s side enduring an injury crisis early in the season.
Dominic Solanke, Randal Kolo Muani, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison are all out injured, leaving Richarlison as Tottenham’s only fit striker.
However, in defence, Frank is expecting to see centre-back Radu Dragusin return from his nasty ACL injury soon.
Dragusin is in the last stages of his rehabilitation, and Frank has now reportedly denied Romania’s request to take the defender with them for their upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
The Daily Mail have reported that Dragusin had been selected to represent Romania this month before Tottenham stood in the way and refused to let the player go on international duty.
Thomas Frank’s Radu Dragusin stance shows change from Ange Postecoglou’s reign
Frank will want Dragusin to be full fit and firing when he returns to Tottenham’s side after his rehab, and the club see the best way of that happening is if he continues to ramp up his workload at Hotspur Way.
This approach to Tottenham’s injury struggles represents a marked change from Tottenham’s experience with injury rehab under Postecoglou.

Postecoglou experienced numerous injury crises during his time as Spurs boss, and it is one of the major factors that held the Australian back from more success in North London.
As Frank looks ahead to Tottenham’s increasing fixture congestion, the Danish head coach will want as many of his key players as ready to play as possible.
