A report from the Mirror on Sunday claimed that Everton boss Ronald Koeman would demand a £100million war-chest if both Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley are sold in the summer.
Now, with the England international set to enter the final year of his contract alongside Lukaku going into his final two years, it is likely that the Toffees will sell both to receive their true values.
This means that Koeman could be presented with a huge nine-figure transfer budget if his demands are given to him by Monaco-based businessman Farhad Moshiri.
So, here, Football Insider have discovered three stars from across Europe that the Toffees could bring in with the huge sum of money.
Everton have been long-term admirers of the Greece international who currently plies his trade for Serie A giants Roma.
In 2012 it was reported by the BBC that they had agreed a £500,000 deal for the then AEK Athens player when he was just 20 years old.
However, he ended up moving to Greek giants Olympiacos and he has since won two top-flight titles alongside a Greek Cup.
The now 25-year-old then completed a move to current club Roma in 2014 for £13million, where he has starred in 121 encounters for the Italian giants.
The defender is now reportedly valued at £35million and Everton may target him to improve their frail back line with reports surfacing in January from Sky Italy that they had made another approach to sign him.
Manager Koeman has looked to bring in some teenage talent to his side since joining in the summer and at 19, Tielemans would certainly meet that criteria.
The youngster has been in fine form for Belgian giants Anderlecht this season with a return of 17 goals and 10 assists in 41 outings in all competitions from his midfield position.
He has also won two caps already for the Belgium senior team at his young age and he will surely have a bright future in the game.
Belgian news outlet DHNet reported in February that Anderlecht hoped to receive £21million for their young star and with the Mirror reporting the Toffees’ interest, it would make sense if they used some of their money to purchase the young talent.
Dolberg, 19, is another young talent and the Ajax forward is certainly within Everton’s reach.
The teenage star has scored a stunning 18 goals and provided seven himself in 40 outings for the Eredivisie side.
He has also been capped by the Denmark senior team and manager Koeman will certainly be aware of the star currently shining in his home country.
In November the Mirror reported that the Toffees were planning a £20million swoop for the striker compared to the world-class Zlatan Ibrahimovic and with a cash injection Dolberg could prove the perfect replacement for Lukaku.
In other Everton transfer news, the Toffees have been tipped to sign this Premier League right-back.
