Benik Afobe has a half-decent goal scoring record since returning to Molineux on loan in January – and that is exactly why Nuno should bin the Bournemouth loanee in the summer.
The Express and Star has reported that Wolves have the option to sign Afobe, 25, on a permanent basis in the summer when his loan deal expires.
However there’s absolutely no way that the West Midlands club should exercise that option with it clear that the former Arsenal striker is nowhere near Premier League quality and there will surely be better options out there for Fosun to invest in.
Against Derby, Afobe missed a lot of decent opportunities and that just will not cut it in the Premier League next season.
