West Bromwich Albion, despite having let Tony Pulis go, defended deep and there was nothing Spurs seemed to be able to do about it. Only Son Heung-min was attempting to run at WBA’s defence, and he was having real success. Spurs always find themselves linked to Wilfried Zaha and it’s easy to see why – he’s exactly the sort of player they need. Until today’s game, Crystal Palace have only got points from games where the 25-year-old has scored and they will be loathe to let him leave. However, if Spurs want to get their title run back on track, he’s the man they need and Daniel Levy needs to make sure it happens.
