Spineless 27-y/o has played last game for Heck: Three things we learned from Leeds in 2-1 loss
COMMENT
Leeds fans would have been dreaming that these final two games of the season would be packed with excitement as their side battled for a play-off place.
The reality couldn’t be any further from that as they had to watch two teams playing for pride at Carrow Road. And neither side had much.
Both Leeds and Norwich have under-performed this season, but it’s Whites fans who have the right to be outraged after they topped the table at the start of the season.
That literally seems like a different time now and while there’s a new manager in the dugout, it’s fair to say that he’s even less popular than Thomas Christiansen. He’s certainly got a worse record.
Leeds did take the lead today, with a rare Kalvin Phillips goal, but the scrappy equaliser they conceded just before half-time sums up their season. And it’s not good. And it got worse in the second half as they went down 2-1 in a dire game.
