Rangers rounded off their United States trip with a resounding 4-2 win over Brazilian giants Corinthians in the Gers’ final game of the Florida Cup on Saturday night.

The Brazilians took a 2-0 lead before half-time as they punished the Gers for defensive lapses before being blown away by Graeme Murty’s side in the second 45.

Two goals from Alfredo Morelos either side of an Andy Halliday strike turned the scoreline around before James Tavernier added a fourth to seal the win for the Light Blues.

Despite a sluggish start, the Gers were much improved after the break for the second time during the Florida Cup and will have given manager Graeme Murty something to think about before the Gers return to domestic action on January 21st against Highland League minnows Fraserburgh.
