The Colombian striker made a fantastic start to life as a Rangers player with eight goals in his first nine games but now Morelos can’t score for love nor money.
The 21-year-old ran himself into the ground against Hamilton and had a number of chances to score but just can’t find the goal-scoring touch that he had in abundance earlier in the season.
It’s hard to criticise the former HJK Helsinki striker when you see how hard he works but the longer he goes without a goal the more questions will be asked about him.
A spell with a consistent partner would possibly help Morelos find some form and could likely help whoever it would be alongside him.
