Three worst Tottenham players from 4-0 win v Bournemouth
COMMENT By Danny Wright
Tottenham romped to a straightforward 4-0 win against Bournemouth at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
Goals from Mousa Dembele, Son Heung-Min, Harry Kane and Vincent Janssen mean that Spurs are now just four points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea after they lost to Manchester United on Sunday.
Although it was a monumental win, there were still a few players that could have done a bit more against the Cherries.
Here, Football Insider picks out the three worst performing Spurs players during the win:

The 21-year-old is arguably the best midfielder in the Premier League, but he was surprisingly quiet against a very poor Bournemouth side. It might be harsh to include Alli in this list, but when Spurs romp to a 4-0 victory you’d expect him to have much more of a bearing on the game. The ex-MK Dons man was easily deposed at times by the visiting defenders and he only managed to complete one dribble throughout the game, according to WhoScored. It wasn’t a disastrous game for Alli, but it’s healthy for him to receive some criticism at times. And although it might be unfair, we expect more.
Bournemouth rarely got forward but when they did they constantly attacked down Davies’ side of the pitch. The Welsh international looked rather complacent at times and didn’t work hard enough to try and stop the cross or close down opposition attackers. For a full-back he should have got forward a bit more too as he would have been in good company with Son and Dembele who would have supplied support. When Danny Rose returns from injury, there’s no doubt Mauricio Pochettino will bring the Englishman straight back into his side.
The ex-Atletico Madrid man did not have a lot to do all afternoon but he was overshadowed by the performance of his centre-back partner Jan Vertonghen. Alderweireld only won one aerial duel throughout the game compared to Vertonghen’s four. Bournemouth didn’t threaten much but next week’s FA Cup semi-final showdown with Chelsea will be an entirely different kettle of fish.
