Lineker trolls Arsenal fans after Liverpool beat West Brom, Gunners will be fuming
By Danny Wright
Tottenham favourite Gary Lineker has trolled Arsenal fans after West Brom lost to Liverpool on Easter Sunday.
The Gunners have endured an awful campaign and currently sit seventh in the Premier League, one place ahead of West Brom.
That seventh place spot should be secure now though, Lineker joked, after West Brom lost to Liverpool.
Albion fell to the 1-0 home defeat courtesy of Roberto Firmino’s goal on the stroke of half-time.
Lineker, speaking on his personal Twitter account, said: “With West Brom losing, Arsenal’s seventh place looks safe.”

Lineker will be relishing the Gunners’ woes this season after spending three years as a Spurs player.
Now working as a TV presenter for BBC and BT, Lineker still retains close ties with Spurs, who are set to finish above Arsenal for the first time in Arsene Wenger’s long reign as manager.
The Gunners are likely to miss out on Champions League football for the first time in Wenger’s time in North London and fans are furiously protesting his tenure at the Emirates.
Lineker made 138 total appearances for Spurs and scored 152 goals.
He also had spells at Leicester, Everton and Barcelona before ending his career with Wenger’s former club Nagoya Grampus Eight of Japan in 1994
