Tim Sherwood reveals surprise that Tottenham sold this midfielder

Tim Sherwood confessed he was shocked that Tottenham sold Nacer Chadli in the transfer window.
The Belgian midfielder ended his three-year stay at White Hart Lane when he completed a permanent move to West Brom in the summer.
Chadli, 27, made a stunning impact in Saturday’s 4-2 win against West Ham by scoring two goals and supplying two assists.
The former Spurs manager Sherwood has revealed he is surprised that Chadli was allowed to leave the club, as quoted by Sky Sports.
“I had him at Tottenham, Nacer – he affects the football match, he can assist and he can score and I was very surprised that Tottenham let him go to be perfectly honest,” he said.

“Nacer Chadli is a fantastic signing, Tony Pulis has done brilliantly to get him to the football club. I think he’s a great signing for them, he gives them a little bit of guile.”
Chadli made 119 appearances for Spurs and scored 25 goals in all competitions during his stay.
Mauricio Pochettinio is blessed with several attacking options at his disposal including the likes of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Erik Lamela, Heung-min Son and Moussa Sissoko.
Chadli was deemed to surplus to requirements this season and he will now hope to help West Brom avoid a relegation battle.
Spurs have started the season in good form and remain unbeaten after a narrow 1-0 win against Sunderland.
