‘Time has come’ for Dele Alli to leave Tottenham after Nuno decision – pundit
Paul Robinson has claimed “the time has come” for Dele Alli to leave Tottenham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one claimed the 25-year-old is “not where he needs to be” and “is going stale” at the club.
Alli appeared to be a big part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans at the beginning of the season.

He started Tottenham’s first six Premier League fixtures of the campaign.
However, after being hauled off at half time of the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in September, Nuno has decided not to use him at all in the league.
The attacking midfielder has three years remaining on his contract in north London.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of Alli’s future, Robinson said: “I think Nuno had big plans for him when he came in.
“He worked with him on the training ground and gave him an opportunity at the beginning of the season. But, the fact of the matter is he is not where he needs to be.

“He hasn’t been for a long time. I don’t know whether he needs a move, some fresh surroundings but he needs re-ignite his career in some way. It looks like he’s lost his love for football. He is going stale at Spurs.
“He has not played well consistently in a long time. I think the time has come for him to move on.”
