Tino Livramento posts new message amid Newcastle speculation: ‘I’m done’

Tino Livramento posted a cryptic five-word message to supporters amid constant speculation surrounding his future.

The English full-back enjoyed an excellent campaign at St James’ Park, establishing himself as Newcastle’s first-choice option on either flank. Trusted on both the left and right sides of defence, his versatility proved invaluable throughout the season.

It’s been a year to remember for Livramento, who also earned his first senior England cap, capping off his rapid rise with international recognition.

However, his performances have drawn attention, with Football Insider revealing that Manchester City have registered interest in Livramento. Despite this, Newcastle are reportedly unwilling to entertain offers for the 22-year-old, who remains an important part of Eddie Howe’s plans.

Now, Livramento has posted on social media, hinting at where his priorities lie amid the ongoing transfer speculation about his future.

Earlier this season, reports suggested Newcastle were bracing themselves for interest in Livramento from Man City. However, the Magpies have made it clear that Livramento is not for sale.

With Kieran Trippier’s future at St James’ Park uncertain and Lewis Hall sidelined with a season-ending injury, Livramento’s importance in the squad had only grown. He stepped up when needed and took on added responsibility, becoming a key figure in Howe’s setup.

He made 45 appearances for Newcastle this season and featured in all but one Premier League match, underlining just how vital he has become.

While the Magpies remain firm on keeping Livramento, their stance appears different when it comes to Anthony Gordon.

Football Insider revealed that Liverpool have been told it would take an offer of £75-80million to secure Gordon’s signature this summer amid fresh interest from Anfield.

This comes after former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Newcastle may be willing to sell Gordon to improve their financial situation.

The winger lost his starting place to Harvey Barnes towards the end of the campaign, and it remains to be seen whether Newcastle will back Barnes to take on a more permanent role next season.
