Toby Alderweireld has congratulated Tottenham stars Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker after the quartet were included in the PFA team of the year.
The four Spurs stars were selected after starring in Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season, as they continue to mount a Premier League title challenge against Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.
The PFA announced the side on their Twitter account which also included four Chelsea stars as well as Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, Man United’s David de Gea and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.

Belgium international Alderweireld was not included in the side despite being named in last season’s team, which saw him picked alongside Hector Bellerin, Wes Morgan and Rose.

Walker and Rose have won plaudits for their form on either side of Spurs’ defence this season, despite the latter being injured for much of the campaign with an ankle problem.
Alli has shone in an attacking midfield role, scoring the goals in the absence of Kane when the striker was injured and taking his overall tally to 19 goals and 11 assists in 41 games.
Kane currently sits second to Lukaku in the Premier League goalscoring rankings, having missed lengthy spells with two ankle injuries throughout the season.
Finding the back of the net 20 times in the league, Kane is four goals behind Belgium international Lukaku after playing 815 minutes less Premier League football.
Alderweireld is likely to start alongside three of the four players included in the PFA side on Saturday against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final, with Rose still sidelined.
