Rogic reveals what is giving Celtic confidence going into Anderlecht CL game
Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic is looking forward to another special European night at Celtic Park when the Hoops take on Anderlecht on Tuesday night.
The Hoops are on the verge of clinching a place in the Europa League, as they lead Anderlecht by three points and three goals going into their final Champions League group stage match of the season.
Rogic, speaking to Celtic’s official website, is hoping that Celtic can emulate their last performance at Celtic Park in Europe, the narrow 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich which arguably the Hoops should have won.
The Australian international said: “The Bayern Munich game at home has given us as players, and I guess the supporters, a lot of confidence going into the match.
“It’s something to build on. We always want to improve and become better players and a better team and we will be looking to build on that for sure.”
Celtic’s Champions League group stage campaign has been a mixture of good and bad for the Parkhead side.

The good being the 3-0 victory in Anderlecht, only Celtic’s second ever away group stage victory, and the aformentioned battling performance at home against Bayern Munich.
The bad has been the two heavy defeats to PSG, 5-0 at Celtic Park and 7-1 in Paris, both of which were nights to forget as Celtic were completely overwhelmed.
The Hoops go into the final group game with a chance to end their Champions League campaign with a bit of respectability and more importantly, European football in the new year.
