Kieran Maguire delivers ‘£251m’ Tottenham reveal after ‘enormous’ news
Tottenham have seen their turnover rise by £251m in recent years – and Harry Kane has been a “significant contributor” to that.
So say finance expert Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after Kane confirmed he will remain at Spurs this summer.
This site first broke news back in April that the 28-year-old was “hell-bent” on quitting the club.

Bu the striker, who is under contract until 2024, tweeted on 25 August that he would now be staying at Spurs.
Maguire, who excluded Spurs’ most recent financial results for the Covid-hit 2019-20 year, explained the extent Kane’s impact on the balance sheets.
“I think there will be a huge sigh of relief,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“Harry Kane playing for Spurs significantly increases their chances of getting into the Champions League next season. It’s an enormous announcement.
“When they made the Champions League in 2019, that boosted their revenues for the season by £80m.
“In 2019, they made £461m compared to £210m in 2016. That’s a £251m boost in three years.
“Harry Kane is a significant contributor to that boost because he delivers on the pitch. The club is fully aware of that.
“They haven’t qualified for the Champions League this season. The rewards in the Europa Conference are slim pickings.

“If you are Aberdeen or St. Johnstone, it does move the dial, but it doesn’t do that for a club like Spurs.
“Kane can help you get into the Champions League and pays for himself in doing so.”
