Tottenham ace Dominic Solanke reveals shock Tosin Adarabioyo twist

Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke has seemingly revealed he’s in a book club with Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo.

Solanke, 27, is currently reading Relentless: From Good to Great to Unstoppable by Tim S. Grover with former England youth teammates Adarabioyo, 27, and Kyle Walker-Peters.

The striker, who was at Chelsea as a youngster before leaving for Liverpool on a free transfer back in 2017, is now one of just nine players to play for both the West London club and Tottenham.

There is no love lost between the two clubs, with former owner Roman Abramovich famously refusing to sell players to Tottenham-even blocking a deal for Carlton Cole.

Solanke has become a key player for Spurs despite their poor first-half of the season, starting 22 of his 26 games across all competitions, scoring 11 goals, and providing five assists in his 2017 minutes of action.

Chelsea’s defensive injury issues mean Adarabioyo has been thrust into the forefront, starting 14 of his 16 games across all competitions, scoring one goal, and providing zero assists in his 1253 minutes on the field.

Solanke took to Instagram to share their cross-rivalry hobby, tagging both Adarabioyo and Walker-Peters in the post.

Ange Postecoglu’s side will doubtless be hoping they can make some progress in the new year, sitting down in 12th with just 24 points from their 20 games.

Chelsea have also had a remarkable loss of form, falling from second in the Premier League table to fourth after going on a four-game winless streak.
