Tottenham ace to be overtaken: Three things to expect from Everton v Hull

COMMENT by Amir Mir

Everton take on relegation-threatened Hull City in a Premier League clash at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

Ronald Koeman will be hoping his team can build from their impressive 3-0 win against West Brom on home soil last time out.

Here, Football Insider looks at the three things Toffees fans can expect from the fixture against the Tigers.

Lukaku to score and overtake Kane in the scoring charts

Belgium international Romelu Lukaku is currently on 19 Premier League goals for the season, joint with injured Tottenham ace Harry Kane. This gives Lukaku an ideal opportunity to overtake the England international as the top scorer in England’s top flight. Lukaku has scored in his last five home matches, finding the back of the net on eight occasions and is sure to cause same damage at the weekend.

Davies and Barkley to impress

In recent months, Everton academy graduates Tom Davies and Ross Barkley have showcased their talents to supporters. Their recent form has particularly been impressive at home and the away side can expect the duo to continue that run at the weekend. The manner in which they dictate play and run at opposition defences is highly impressive.

Coleman to continue his good form

The Republic of Ireland international has arguably been his side’s best player in recent weeks. From his solid, no-nonsense defending to his constant attacking threats on the right wing, Coleman is fun to watch. Hull can expect the right-back to continue that form on Saturday and prove to be a threat to their side throughout the afternoon.
