Tottenham: Adi Hutter named as new favourite to be next manager as odds crash
Tottenham Hotspur have been tipped to appoint Adi Hutter as their next permanent manager amid the potential departure of Igor Tudor.
The Croatian has failed to win any of the five Premier League games he has taken charge of since he was appointed on an interim basis in February, plunging his side further towards the relegation zone.
Tottenham now sit just one point above West Ham and the relegation zone after they were smashed 3-0 at home by Nottingham Forest last week.
Hutter is available after leaving Monaco in October, with most of his managerial experience coming in Austria and Germany.
Tottenham’s next manager will be faced with an uncertain future and incredibly rocky foundations, with the threat of relegation very much alive.

Former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider this week that Tottenham could appoint another interim manager before the end of the season.
The chances of Tudor seeing out the season currently appear unlikely, and the likes of Hutter are rumoured to be more likely to be summer appointments.

Considering their unstable position in the Premier League, it would be difficult and unwise for any permanent appointment to be made at this stage.
Relegation to the Championship will change the calibre of managers willing to take charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and it will be devastating to the finances.
Still, decision-makers will already be drawing up a shortlist for Tottenham’s next permanent manager in the summer, with that decision set to be incredibly important regardless.
Hutter appears to have emerged as a serious option for that role, with the Austrian having led Monaco to the Champions League twice before he was dismissed this season in harsh circumstances.

One major bookmaker has named him the 3/1 favourite to take over at Tottenham permanently next season, while Roberto De Zerbi (13/8) and Mauricio Pochettino (7/1) remain in contention.
How could Hutter set up Tottenham?
Hutter generally set up in a 4-2-3-1 during his last season with Monaco, often utilising Ansu Fati in the number 10 position.
The Austrian would have two defensive midfielders in a pivot at the base of the midfield, while his two wingers would often come inside.
Xavi Simons would likely be the centre figure in this system if it were applied at Tottenham, with Dominic Solanke likely the man through the middle.
The pivot could be occupied by Pape Sarr and Archie Gray, although there would be plenty of room for experiementation.
