By Russell Edge
Former Tottenham midefielder Darren Anderton believes that owner Daniel Levy will consider any big money offers for the club’s stars, but has urged him to turn them down.
The White Hart Lane side have enjoyed another successful season under Mauricio Pocchetino, competing in the title race with Chelsea and reaching the FA Cup semi-finals.
Fans and pundits alike have been singing the praises of players such as Dele Alli, who won the PFA young player of the year award, and Harry Kane for their role in the club’s success.
Former Spurs man Darren Anderton believes that other clubs are set to target Spurs’ stars with big money offers, and believes chairman Daniel Levy will be very tempted to sell.
However, speaking on TalkSport’s Sports Breakfast’s official Twitter page, Anderton has urged the businessman to resist the temptation to sell up.

Anderton believes White Hart Lane is the right place to be for Tottenham’s biggest players, including Dele Alli, saying: “It’s a great place to be at the moment. He (Alli) is at the right club in my opinion.”
Tottenham kept themselves in the title race with victory over Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, a result which keeps them within four points of leaders Chelsea.
Their next fixture sees them host Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday.
In other Tottenham news, Harry Redknapp has claimed this Tottenham star does not get the praise he deserves.
