'They're almost swatting us away' - Ian Wright predicts Tottenham v Arsenal
By Russell Edge
Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has admitted Tottenham are the better side ahead of this weekend’s north London derby as they look to maintain their title chances.
Spurs go into Sunday’s game four points off league leaders Chelsea, although the Blues could extend that lead to seven with victory over Everton earlier in the day.
With just five games left to play this season the White Hart Lane side know that they must wait for Chelsea to make a mistake if they are to have any chance of catching them.
However, Wright believes that the pressure is on Spurs, not Antonio Conte’s side, as the title race reaches it’s climax.

However, the former Gunner was very complimentary of Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and insisted they were well beyond Arsenal in terms of talent, although he stopped short of predicting victory this Sunday.
“It’s a different Tottenham force now,” said Wright on the Sun’s football podcast. “They’ve gone to a different place, they’re almost swatting us (Arsenal) away.
“I think someone’s going to win it. You can’t call a North London derby.”
Spurs boss Pochettino is yet to taste defeat in his five derby clashes with rivals Arsenal, having drawn one and leading his side to victory in four.
While victory would keep Spurs within touching distance of Chelsea, it would also guarantee Tottenham will finish the season above the Gunners for the first time in 22 years.
