Tottenham backed to complete Alessandro Bastoni signing after new twist
Tottenham can convince Alessandro Bastoni to join the club this summer.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
This site revealed last Wednesday (25 May) that Spurs have identified Baston, as their first choice left-sided centre-back this summer and updated on Friday (27 May) that the club were ready to submit their opening bid at the weekend.

Journalist Dan Kilpatrick reported on Monday (30 May) that the defender is reluctant to leave Inter and that Spurs need to convince him of the move.
However, Wenham insists Spurs will be able to sell their project to the 23-year-old.
“I’m sorry, do you want to work with Antonio Conte again? He’s probably one of the best Italian managers of all time,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Do you want to Fabio Paratici? Do you want to live in London? Does he want to play in the Champions League?
“Do you want good money? It doesn’t take long to pitch the idea of joining Tottenham.
“I know he has come through at Inter and I appreciate that but do you not want to try something new?
“Come and play in London, for an Italian manager and sporting director in the Champions League.
“We have players who have made that transition and speak Italian. Kulusevski, Bentancur, Romero, they have done it.

“For me, this is where our world-class manager and sporting director come to the fray.
“I don’t see any issues with convincing Bastoni to join.”
