Tottenham could sign ‘top striker’ to replace Harry Kane after source’s reveal – expert
Paul Robinson has claimed Tottenham will have no problem “attracting a top striker” to the club if Harry Kane leaves next summer.
However, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said it would be “extremely difficult” to replace like-for-like.
Kane’s contract in north London runs until the end of June 2024.

Sources have told Football Insider (16 October) that Antonio Conte’s future will play a big role in whether Kane commits to a new deal at the club.
It is understood that Spurs are keen to begin negotiations, but Kane has held back from doing so.
Conte has entered the final 12 months of his contract.
When asked by Football Insider if Spurs should start identifying potential replacements for Kane in case he departs next summer, Robinson said: “If they do lose Harry Kane they have to replace like for like.
“That will be extremely difficult because Harry Kane is one of the world’s best strikers.
“If a situation was to arise where he left they would have to go into the market.

“Look at where Spurs are now. Look at the size and the stature of the club, the manager they have got and the fact they are in the Champions League. I do not think they will have a problem attracting a top striker.
“The first priority has to be to keep Kane though.”
In other news, a medical expert has suggested all is not what it seems with Tottenham star Harry Kane after an injury reveal.
