Tottenham star Dominic Solanke reacts to Dejan Kulusevski’s emotional message

Dominic Solanke has reacted to a message shared by Tottenham teammate Dejan Kulusevski.

Kulusevski enjoyed a largely successful 2024/25 campaign, notching 10 goals and 11 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions despite suffering injuries.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are closing in on the appointment of Thomas Frank, as the North London club strive to enjoy a more successful Premier League season next term.

Both Solanke and Kulusevski will hope to hit strong form under the 51-year-old once he completes his switch from Brentford.

Kulusevski missed Tottenham’s Europa League final triumph over Manchester United last month courtesy of injury.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday, 11 June, as he wrote: “Love is higher than opinion. If people love one another, the most varied opinions can be reconciled.

“Thus, one of the most important tasks for humankind today and in the future is that we should learn to live together and understand one another.

“If this human fellowship is not achieved, all talk of development is empty.”

Solanke gave the post a like, while Tottenham are next in action when they take on North London rivals Arsenal in a pre-season friendly on 31 July.

Solanke could thrive under Frank

Although Ange Postecoglou’s sacking divided the Spurs fanbase, Tottenham supporters will be largely enthused by Frank’s imminent arrival, as the Dane has enjoyed a successful career with former club Brentford.

The 51-year-old has successfully guided the Bees to two top-half finishes in the Premier League since winning promotion from the Championship back in 2021.

But one individual who could particularly benefit from Frank’s appointment is Solanke, as the Brentford boss has shown his ability to successfully coach strikers throughout his time with the West London club.

Both Bryan Mbeumo and Yoanne Wissa enjoyed a stellar 2024/25 Premier League campaign, as they notched 20 goals and 19 goals, respectively, in the top flight last term.

Meanwhile, Frank previously got the best out of England international Ivan Toney, helping the former Peterborough man successfully adjust to the Premier League after proving his credentials in the Championship.
