Tottenham expected 4-2-3-1 v Hull: Two senior stars axed
COMMENT By Harvey Byrne
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino could axe senior stars Mousa Dembele and Son Heung-Min for Wednesday evening’s clash with Hull at White Hart Lane.
The Argentine boss is likely to recall Harry Winks to the midfield with Spurs set to play three games in seven days.
The 20-year-old made a 67th minute substitute appearance against Manchester United on Sunday for Dembele and he is expected to replace the Belgium international in the starting XI.
Attacker Son is expected to suffer a similar fate to Dembele after a poor display at Old Trafford.
The axed 24-year-old is expected to be replaced by £30million summer signing Moussa Sissoko, who impressed in his 30 minute cameo on Sunday.

Pochettino is known for his high rotation between midweek and weekend fixtures, but he made just two changes between the CSKA and United fixtures previously.
The former Southampton boss may now be adapting his tactics with a poor Champions League campaign alongside a fifth-placed position in the Premier League table.
The back five is likely to remain the same with star man Toby Alderweireld starting his first game in just under two months on Sunday following injury.
He will be expected to form a back four with Kyle Walker, Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose with the top class Hugo Lloris behind them.
Defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama will likely protect the back four in the centre of the park, while Winks will be given more of a license to attack against a poor Hull side.
Sissoko will be expected to play on the right hand side of an attacking midfield three with Christian Eriksen moving across to the left and Dele Alli in the middle.
The front three will be looking to cause problems to a Hull defence which has conceded 32 goals from their 15 fixtures this season.
Star striker Harry Kane will also be hoping to compound on the Tigers defensive woes and he will be eager to add to his nine goals scored in all competitions this season.
The north London outfit are strongly expected to win the clash at home against Hull in a fixture which sees fifth take on 19th.
