Tottenham holy trinity omitted for clash v Rochdale as Poch makes nine changes - report

Tottenham are set to make nine changes to their starting XI for Wednesday night’s FA Cup clash against Rochdale, according to a report.
Football London claim manager Mauricio Pochettino will stick with only two of the players who began Sunday’s Premier League win over Crystal Palace.
It is said that Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama are likely to be the only players who keep their places as the Argentine gives breathers to his regulars ahead of the weekend league fixture against Huddersfield and next Wednesday’s Champions League second-leg showdown against Juventus.
Among those set to be rested are the holy trinity of superstars, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
They are set to be joined on the sidelines by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, defenders Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies, and midfield pair Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela.
This will mean a start for January signing Lucas Moura and rare starts for Fernando Llorente, Michel Vorm and Juan Foyth as well as the regulars who make up the first-team squad.
Tottenham will book their passage into the fifth round of the FA Cup if they win at Wembley on Wednesday night.
Tottenham expected (4-2-3-1): Vorm; Trippier, Foyth, Dier, Rose; Winks, Wanyama; Moura, Sissoko, Son; Llorente.
In other Tottenham news, it can be revealed the club are working on deals to sign up FIVE players, with three agreements virtually nailed on.
