Tottenham expert digs at Liverpool as 'huge' prediction made - 'unbelievable'

Liverpool will crumble under the pressure when they face Tottenham on Sunday (6 November).

That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Tottenham take on Liverpool on Sunday (6 November) looking to make it three successive wins in all competitions.

Liverpool have only won four of their 12 Premier League games this season and head into the game without key players such as Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz.

Wenham claims the Reds will crumble under pressure as they need the win more than Spurs.

“Liverpool might be in a bit of a rut but I think the Marseille game took a lot out of us, physically and emotionally,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“It was an unbelievable win but against Liverpool we will be without Son and possibly Bentancur who looks like he has a hamstring injury. We don’t know if Romero is going to be fit enough to start.

“It is going to be a tough ask. If you were to ask me before the Marseille game about which game I would rather us win then it would be that one, the Champions League is so important.

“Liverpool have players who can hurt you and our defence hasn’t quite been at it recently. If we concede the first goal then of course we will be trying to get back into a game without Sonny, Kulusevski and Richarlison.

“It’s a huge game for Liverpool though, the pressure is on them and they have not dealt with pressure when it has been on them this season.”

Tottenham won in midweek, beating Marseille 2-1 in the Champions League (1 November).

Liverpool also won their final Champions League group game against Napoli on the same night.
