Tottenham expert issues strong Fabio Paratici claim amid ‘deeply concerning’ Hotspur Way development

It is “impossible” that the Tottenham Under-21 side will be relegated from their Premier League 2 division this season.

That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Tottenham’s Under-21s have not won any of their 13 Premier League 2 games so far this season.

They are rock bottom of their division and won’t play again until they face Liverpool’s Under-21s on 8 January.

Despite this, Wenham is certain the side will avoid an embarrassing relegation.

“The form of that team is deeply concerning considering some of the players in there,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“But I have said this before and I will say it again, there is no way this team gets relegated. Fabio Paratici will not allow it to happen.

“It’s impossible. He will do whatever it takes. We cannot have this team with these facilities in a lower tier of the competition.

“We just can’t. I have been saying for months now that we can expect major changes in January, I expect they are already being looked at by whoever is making the decisions.

“As I have said I think more signings will come in, it just depends on how much we are willing to spend to avoid relegation which would be embarrassing, frankly.”

While the Under-21s haven’t won any of their 13 games, they have only lost seven.

Six draws have given the side six points and a win in their next game could only lift them one place in the table.
