Tottenham expert: Permanent Tanguy Ndombele transfer on the cards after what 'I've heard'
Tottenham outcast Tanguy Ndombele could sign for Napoli on a permanent basis after their strong start to the season.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On 19 August, Tottenham confirmed Ndombele, 25, had joined Napoli on loan for the 2022-23 season.
He has now made six appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring once in a Champions League clash against Rangers.
Despite never playing more than 45 minutes in any one game for the club, Wenham claims the Serie A leaders may be forced to sign Ndombele at the end of the season.
“Ndombele came on for three minutes in their most recent game, following on from the ten minutes he played against Rangers, in which he got his goal,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“He obviously hasn’t been called up by France so hopefully he is using these two weeks to build up his fitness and hopefully he can go on a run of starting games for Napoli.
“He seems to be doing well, generally. I believe I heard something about if they qualify for the Champions League then the buy option becomes mandatory.
“That’s looking good at the moment. Napoli have already pummelled Juventus in the league and are on six points from two games in the Champions League as well.”
Ndomebele made just 13 appearances for Tottenham during the 2021/22 campaign.
He played just seven times under Antonio Conte before being shipped out on loan to Lyon.
