Tottenham expert ‘really pleased’ by behind-the-scenes development sanctioned by Fabio Paratici
Tottenham fans should be “really pleased” by the appointment of Rangers scout Andy Scoulding.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On 9 June, The Telegraph reported Rangers chief scout Scoulding is to join Tottenham ahead of the start of the 2022-23 season.

The report credits Scoulding with a role in the signings of Joe Aribo from Charlton, Calvin Bassey from Leicester City’s academy and Ryan Kent after a loan from Liverpool.
All three players have seen their market value increase during their time at Ibrox.
Wenham is delighted with this development after years of “abysmal” recruiting for which previous scouts have already been fired.
“We have lost a lot of people in recent months,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Some of which I was fairly happy about because our recruitment had been abysmal until Fabio Paratici came in.
“If Paratici has selected Scoulding as someone who he thinks can come in and improve the recruitment team, then the more the merrier.
“I’m really pleased with that. because, as I say, our recruitment has been poor for a long time and that needed to change.”

Tottenham have already confirmed the signings of Ivan Perisic, 33, and Fraser Forster, 34, this summer.
Antonio Conte is looking to improve his squad ahead of a return to the Champions League in the 2022-23 campaign.
