Tottenham secured another three points at Wembley with a routine 4-0 win over Everton on Saturday evening.

Goals for Heung-Min Son, two for Harry Kane and one from Christian Eriksen sealed the points as Wayne Rooney saw his effort for Everton ruled out for offside.

Eric Dier set up Kane for his second but it wasn’t a vintage performance from the midfielder and he was substituted for Victor Wanyama in the 73rd minute.

And Tottenham fans were quick to criticise the 23-year-old despite the clinical victory.

Here is a selection of the best tweets from exasperated Tottenham fans.

The win keeps Tottenham in fifth, but they’re now level on points with Liverpool in fourth. Liverpool have the slightly better goal difference.

It does give them a bit of breathing room behind them, with Arsenal now five points back.

Both of these teams play their game in hand on Sunday and Liverpool have way the harder of it, as they entertain Man City at Anfield.

Tottenham travel to Southampton in their next game in the Premier League next Sunday.

In other Tottenham transfer news, Levy is set to enter contract talks with this crucial midfield duo.
