Tottenham fans are adamant that their former defender Ledley King was a better player than Chelsea icon John Terry.
The Blues announced on Monday that 36-year-old Terry will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and he plans to carry on playing football elsewhere.
The centre-back has made 713 appearances during his time at Stamford Bridge and could win his fifth Premier League title during his final season.
Meanwhile, Spurs have also had some great defenders during their history and fan favourite King is regarded as one of the best.
The centre-back announced his retirement in 2012 after 305 appearances for the club, with his infamous knee injury plaguing his career.

Rio was better, ledley king was a better defender too. If only he had two working knees he'd be talked about as England's best CB.

King is still remembered fondly at White Hart Lane and regarded as one of their best ever defenders.
Many fans feel that he would have been an England regular if he had no injury problems, but still hold him in higher regard than Terry.
King’s top moment came in the 2007-08 season when he captained Spurs to the League Cup final after beating Chelsea.
Terry has a huge honours to his name after winning the likes of the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup during his time in the FA Cup.
The Blues fans will strongly disagree with Spurs’ claims about King and will point to Terry’s success in an argument.
