Tottenham fans have taken to social media to rave over the performance of attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen in the club’s home clash against West Ham.

The two sides went into the half time break level at 0-0, with Spurs having commanded possession but found themselves unable to break down a resolute defence from the visitors.

Despite the home side’s early domination it was West Ham who took the lead, courtesy of a stunning strike from Pedro Obiang, who slammed the ball past Hugo Lloris from well outside Tottenham’s box.

However Spurs responded with an equally sensational strike, Heung-min Son rocketing a shot from a central position past Adrian to level the scores and leave both sides sharing the points.

While Son may steal the headlines, Tottenham supporters were still impressed on Twitter with what they saw from attacker Eriksen, who was a constant thorn in the side of the Hammers with his impressive passing play and his vision

Here, Football Insider has rounded up a selection of the supporters’ best tweets:

Eriksen has been a crucial figure for Spurs this season, having started every one of the club’s 22 league games this season, in which he has scored five goals and chipped in with a further seven assists, with a total of 26 appearances across all competitions during the current campaign.
