'OMG', 'Oh no' – Tottenham fans react in panic after injury scare v Huddersfield

Tottenham Hotspur strolled to 2-0 victory at home against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon in a result that pushed them up to third, one point ahead of Liverpool.

A brace from Son Heung-Min wrapped up all three points for the North Londoners and ensured they would go into their second leg showdown fixture against Juventus on Wednesday, brimming with confidence.

But Spurs fans grew concerned after their star midfielder Mousa Dembele appeared to pick up a knock towards the end of the first half and seemed to be limping.

The Belgian international was supreme in Turin the last time the two met as Spurs clawed back a two-goal deficit to finish the match 2-2, and will need the 30-year-old for the fixture if they are going to come out on top.

Despite continuing and looking as though he had run the issue off it looked all the world as though Mauricio Pochettino would replace him with Erik Lamela in order to ensure his fitness ahead of the crunch tie in Europe’s elite competition.

However, the Spurs boss opted to continue with the Belgian in the centre of the park with Lamela replacing Son Heung-min instead, leaving it to the 77th minute to replace the ace.
