Tottenham fans react on Twitter after Harry Kane provides injury update
By Amir Mir
Harry Kane has ensured supporters that he will come back “stronger” from his ankle injury – and fans on Twitter have wished him a speedy recovery.
The club confirmed on their official Twitter account on Tuesday that Kane suffered ligament damage to his right ankle after coming off early during the 6-0 FA Cup win against Millwall last Sunday.
England international Kane then promised the White Hart Lane faithful that he will be “working hard” to ensure he comes back to score more goals.
Always come back stronger from injuries and will be working hard with the medical staff to do that again. Thanks for all the messages. pic.twitter.com/zGYQhw8IaB

Understandably, supporters on social media wished him the best in his recovery with some even offering their ankles to the club’s star man.
One fan told Kane that the club needn’t worry because they have in-form midfielder Dele Alli at their disposal.

Former League One player Alli has scored 14 Premier League goals this season, only five fewer than Kane despite his teammate playing in a more advanced role.
At this moment in time, Kane is the Premier League’s top scorer with 19 goals alongside Everton frontman Romelu Lukaku.
However, during the period of games Kane will miss, he is likely to be overtaken by the Belgian and possibly the chasing pack of Diego Costa and Alexis Sanchez – both have 17 league goals.
Overall, fans were hoping that Kane makes a quick return so he can be ready in time for the FA Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea on the week commencing April 22.
