Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is high on the shortlist of Spanish giants Real Madrid – and fans on Twitter believe he won’t move.

The Telegraph has claimed in a new report that the La Liga side have identified the 30-year-old as an alternative target if they are unable to sign Chelsea stopper Thibaut Courtois.

France international Lloris has been a key figure for the north London club in recent seasons which has seen them challenge for the Premier League title and finish in a Champions League place.

Therefore, it is no surprise that the Tottenham faithful don’t want to see him leave, nor do they believe that he will make the move to Spain.

One fan thought that Chelsea shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois is the player that will most likely make the move to the current La Liga leaders.

However, one supporter did say that if the right price was offered for the experienced campaigner then he wouldn’t begrudge Lloris moving.

But, another fan did point out that replacing a top keeper is hard, especially considering the struggles the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool are going through.

Overall, the White Hart Lane faithful were hopeful that Lloris is not going to leave Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Lloris has played 27 games for Pochettino’s side this side, helping the club secure 11 clean sheets during those matches.

Furthermore, he has secured nine clean sheets in 21 league games, most recently during the 1-0 win against Middlesbrough.

In other Tottenham transfer news, Spurs have beaten Chelsea to the signature of this striker who will join the club in the summer.
