Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Harry Kane display against Chelsea
By Amir Mir
Harry Kane started the game as Tottenham beat Chelsea 2-0 at White Hart Lane – and fans on Twitter thought that the striker had a quiet game.
Spurs produced a magnificent display as a brace from Dele Alli helped them to a much-needed three points in the Premier League title race.
Midfielder Alli scored a brilliant header just before the break when he guided home a wonderful cross from Christian Eriksen.
The duo were at it again after the interval when Alli’s movement caused problems for the Chelsea backline as he helped the north London club double their advantage.
Kane was substituted in stoppage time by his manager and supporters on social media felt his attacking threat was anonymous on the night.

Nonetheless, they praised his work rate as he never stopped working the channels throughout the game.
As result of that win, Pochettino’s side moved into third place, above Arsenal, on 42 points from 20 games, seven behind leaders Chelsea.

Son for Kane for #thfc. Quiet night for the striker, but he's battled hard.

Kane was pretty anonymous but that was because of Luiz who cancelled him out…… but we got Alli, Dele Alli #coys
