Tottenham fans reacted with confidence after their team drew Gent in the last 32 of the Europa League.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will face the Belgium outfit after they were knocked out of the Champions League in the group stages but secured a third place finish to ensure they qualified for a place in the Europa League.
Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat at Monaco in late November confirmed their exit from the Champions League but they bounced back to record a comfortable 3-1 victory against CSKA Moscow last Wednesday.

Gent finished top of Group F to progress through to the last 32 of the competition, maintaining a positive goal difference and totally 12 points.
They were the only team in the group not to concede more than they scored and they progressed fairly comfortably, two points ahead of Athletic Bilbao.

As well as the Spanish outfit, Gent overcame Rapid Viena and Sassuolo to win the group but will go into the clash against Tottenham as resounding underdogs.
Tottenham are currently in fifth place in the Premier League, three points behind Manchester City in the final Champions League spot following their 1-0 defeat against Manchester United on Sunday.
A top four finish in the league will be difficult with competition from City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool for the European places so Spurs’ best hope of securing a Champions League spot could be by winning the Europa League.
