Tottenham fans react to Vincent Janssen Twitter message ahead of final pre-season clash
By Harvey Byrne
Tottenham fans have tipped Vincent Janssen to have a successful second season at the club ahead of their pre-season finale against Juventus.
The north London club are currently preparing to host the Italian giants at Wembley stadium on Saturday evening after ending their summer tour of the United States.
Spurs rounded off their time in America with a 3-0 defeat against league rivals Manchester City in Nashville and Janssen saw just 20 minutes of action in the clash.
However, on Tuesday afternoon the Dutch striker thanked fans for their “fantastic support” via his personal Twitter account and also posted his excitement for the upcoming Juventus clash.
Tottenham fans responded with their own support for the striker and many believe the next campaign will be a better one for Janssen despite bagging just the one pre-season goal to date in a 3-2 defeat against Roma.
One supporter on social media urged the Holland international to prove his doubters wrong, while others stated that they still believed in him.

Janssen joined Tottenham last summer in a massive £17million deal from AZ Alkmaar.
However, he failed to live up to the price-tag in his debut season for the club and managed a return of just six goals in 38 matches in all competitions.
He will be hoping for vast improvement himself in the next campaign with three years still remaining on his contract.
