Tottenham fans slam ‘horrendous’ Daniel Levy as Ndombele news emerges
Tottenham fans have hit out at Daniel Levy despite widespread jubilation after Tanguy Ndombele was released from his contract.
Reports have claimed the French midfielder, 27, has had his contract terminated by Tottenham, having not played for the club since January 2022.
Having arrived at Spurs for £54million in 2019, Ndombele’s lack of discipline and disappointing displays meant fans were buzzing at the news that he looks to have been let go.
However, many took aim at the chairman, pointing to the wasted money as both Ndombele and Ryan Sessegnon, signed for a combined £84million, were allowed to leave for free.
The losses made on both deals have been described as “horrendous”.
Football Insider revealed in May that Spurs would look to get rid of Ndombele upon his return from Galatasaray.

Ndombele made 91 appearances for Tottenham, scoring ten goals and providing nine assists before spending loan spells with Lyon, Napoli and Galatasaray.
Some supporters pointed their frustration at Levy given the outlay and eventual losses on the deal, with the Frenchman’s transfer labelled “the worst of all time.”
Most supporters, however, were glad to see the back of the Frenchman, labelling him “disgraceful”, “embarrassing”, and “a complete waste of space”.
In other news, Tottenham have told Giovani Lo Celso to find a new club.
