'Sign him up' - Tottenham fans urge Poch to dig deep after stunning display from reported PL target

By Dominic Toner

Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha starred in the 3-0 win over Arsenal on Monday night – and Tottenham fans have urged Mauricio Pochettino to sign their reported transfer target.

The Sun claim that Tottenham are in the race to sign the 24-year-old and are weighing up a £25million move.

Zaha delivered a great performance in the Premier League as Palace pulled off a shock victory and managed to supply two assists for his teammates.

The right winger terrorised the Arsenal defence during the entire game and has helped the Eagles pull clear of the relegation places.

Spurs fans were thrilled with the display of Zaha against Arsenal and feel that their side should complete a deal for him in the summer.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Zaha is enjoying the best season of his career so far and has become more influential in front of goal.

The right winger has now made 30 appearances across all competitions this campaign, scoring six goals and supplying 11 assists in return.

He has often been criticised throughout his career for his lack of end product, but the 24-year-old has begun to mature and could link up with Spurs next season.

Pochettino’s side do already have several talented attackers at their disposal, with Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen currently occupying the two wide attacking role.

They also have the likes of Erik Lamela, Heung-Min Son, Moussa Sissoko and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou in their squad, but the Spurs fans feel that Zaha could make a strong impact at White Hart Lane.

In other Tottenham transfer news, the club’s senior figure is subject to a summer tug-of-war.
