Brad Friedel delivered a brilliant putdown of Arsenal when praising Tottenham live on TV in the United States.
The former Premier League goalkeeper was comparing Spurs’ young squad to that of Champions League semi-finalists Monaco.
Whilst complementing Mauricio Pochettino’s side, Friedel was interrupted by one of his colleagues before he asked: “how’s Arsenal doing.”
The White Hart Lane faithful will love these comments from Friedel during the midweek Champions League fixtures.

The American was clearly poking fun at the Gunners, who look set to finish outside of the top four after a disastrous Premier League campaign.
Arsenal’s season has mirrored their north London neighbours, who are four points behind Chelsea in the table and on course to finish above their rivals for the first time in two decades.
At this moment in time, Spurs are 14 points ahead of sixth-placed Arsenal, who are seven points behind Manchester City, who occupy the final Champions League spot.
The two teams are set to meet at White Hart Lane on April 30 in what will be the last north London derby set to be played at Spurs’ old home.
Furthermore, there is the chance that the two London teams could face each other in the FA Cup final at Wembley in May.
Wenger’s side take on Manchester City in their semi-final, while Pochettino will be hoping his team can see off the threat of Chelsea.
England Internationa Dele Alli, who has been nominated for PFA’s Young Player of the Year award, scored a brace the last time Spurs faced Antonio Conte’s team.
