Tottenham handed golden opportunity to agree Guglielmo Vicario transfer
Tottenham have just been presented with a golden opportunity to get rid of Guglielmo Vicario.
The Italian goalkeeper is under heavy scrutiny yet again after some shoddy recent displays in the Premier League that have left Spurs fans growing increasingly frustrated with him.
Tottenham supporters cut into Vicario on social media for his significant role in the disastrous 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest earlier in December, and that is far from the only error that he has made this term.
Thomas Frank’s men have struggled to find consistency so far in 2025-26, and it is clear that their gloveman’s up-and-down form has been a crucial part of that.

Tottenham must exploit unprecedented Inter Milan opportunity
Football Insider recently revealed that Tottenham may be tempted to replace Vicario next summer, and they could be about to move one step closer to that decision as an opportunity looks set to arise in the market.
Inter Milan view the 29-year-old as an ideal replacement for Yann Sommer, according to Calcio Mercato.
The Swiss international is out of contract at the San Siro in the summer, and the Tottenham man is viewed as a major target, due to the belief that he has a desire to return to Italy.
However, Vicario may not be the only star to depart North London for Inter in the summer.
Radu Dragusin is also on the Nerazzurri’s radar, with Spurs understood to be keen to do business on a potential loan deal with the option to buy.
The Romanian’s agent has already suggested Italy as an ideal option for his client, and it would be no surprise to see a similar stance taken regarding Vicario’s future, given that he is represented by the same man.

Frank has highlighted his support of Vicario publicly amid all of his recent errors, but with the opportunity for an unprecedented double sale potentially on the cards, he may be tempted to show his ruthless side and guide his number one goalkeeper towards the exit.
Luka Vuskovic to be delighted with Radu Dragusin exit news
Luka Vuskovic is building a big reputation away from Tottenham due to some impressive performances during his latest loan spell at Hamburg.
The 18-year-old is earmarked for a big future in North London, but he faces obstacles ahead of him with the likes of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven backed up by Dragusin and Kevin Danso.
Dragusin is finally back in action for Tottenham after a lengthy recovery process from the ACL injury that he suffered back in January, but he could already be facing the axe.
If Frank and Co. opt to move him on at the end of the season, then Vuskovic would undoubtedly be the main beneficiary, given that it removes one of those obstacles between him and a first-team spot.
The Croatian has received plenty of plaudits for his recent displays, and Spurs will surely want to do everything in their power to avoid stunting his development at all.
