Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has returned to full training ahead of the North London derby this Sunday according to a report.
The Mirror claim that the Frenchman has returned to training and took a full part in team training on Saturday.
It was previously thought that Koscielny would miss the clash against Tottenham after picking up a knee injury during the Gunners’ 1-0 victory over Leicester in mid-week.
However it now looks as though Arsene Wenger’s rock will be fit to face Spurs, though Shkodran Mustafi was still missing from training and is expected to play no part.
Koscielny will likely be employed in a 3-4-3 formation, alongside Gabriel and Rob Holding in a back three.
The 31-year-old has spent time on the sidelines previously this campaign with a variety of issues, however he has still managed to make 39 appearances in all competitions and has been a mainstay of the Gunners’ defence.
Arsenal currently sit sixth in the Premier League and with a win they could move within a point of Man United, who occupy fifth.
However Wenger’s side do hold a game in hand on their rivals, and if they win that they could potentially move ahead of Man United and Man City into the top four, with other results permitting.
