Tottenham have ‘concrete’ interest in Serge Gnabry as Bayern Munich ready to sell

Tottenham have a “concrete” interest in Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry going into the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

Bayern Munich are open to selling the 28-year-old, whose future is up in the air at the Bundesliga club as the end of the season approaches.

The attacker has slipped down the pecking order at the German giants, with Gnabry having made just 17 appearances in all competitions this season.

But the Germany international has many of the qualities admired by Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou, with Gnabry able to play in multiple attacking positions.

Various injuries have forced the forward, who boasts 45 Germany caps, to spend much of the current campaign on the sidelines.

His contract with the Bavarian club does not expire until June 2026, but it remains to be seen if the player will remain at Bayern until then.

Gnabry does, of course, have experience of playing in North London, with the attacker having come through the youth ranks at Arsenal.

He made 18 appearances for the Gunners, who loaned him to West Brom before selling him permanently to Werder Bremen.

Any pursuit from Spurs could, however, depend on their success in landing Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White, with sources telling Football Insider last month that the North London outfit will make their move for the 24-year-old this summer having followed him closely for two years.
