Tottenham insider digs at ‘very emotional’ fans as fresh Nuno sack verdict issued
Nuno Espirito Santo has proved his doubters wrong after picking up a third successive win as manager of Tottenham.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
After Spurs lost three games in a row, conceding three goals in each clash, Nuno was under heavy pressure from some members of the fanbase.

The final loss came at The Emirates as Arsenal ripped through a lacklustre midfield and raced into a three-goal lead inside 33 minutes.
However, that form has turned around completely with Spurs winning their last three games in all competitions.
Wenham insists Nuno was never going to get sacked and blamed an “emotional” derby day loss on the ill-feeling from some fans.
“I said at the time that everything was a bit of an overreaction,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“There was a very emotional reaction after the Arsenal game.
“We were poor but I think if we played like that against anyone else there wouldn’t have been the same reaction.
“I’m glad it’s all calmed down now. He was never going to lose his job.
“It was a massive overreaction from some sections of the fan base.
“That’s three wins in a row now, it never looked like we were heading for disaster.
“We’re fifth in the league now and looking good. The West Ham game is big, if we win that then confidence should be flowing.”

Tottenham cruised to a 3-2 win over Newcastle on Sunday evening.
This came after a back to back wins against NS Mura and Aston Villa before the international break.
