Tottenham Insider: Nuno is drilling four 'fringe' players set for major roles after international break
Nuno Espirito Santo is using the international break to galvanise the fringe players at Tottenham ahead of an important run of fixtures.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham face a busy fixture schedule after the international break.
They face West Ham and Manchester United in the league as well as a Europa Conference League double-header against Vitesse.
The club have many of their first-team stars away on international duty at the moment.
Wenham has explained how Nuno will be working with some of his fringe players to prepare them for the upcoming run of fixtures.

“We have a core group of players staying at Hotspur Way,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They will use this time to work with Nuno and hopefully earn themselves a bit of credit. It’s imperative Nuno does this.
“The players I want to see working hard, Dele Alli, Harry Winks, Eric Dier and Lucas Moura.
“I also want to see Steven Bergwijn use this time to ramp up his recovery. The same goes for Ryan Sessegnon.
“This is still a vital time, even if attention switches to the international games.
“A lot can get done in these two weeks and those fringe players will be the centre of attention.
“I really hope they can benefit from this.”
Tottenham have drawn and won their opening group games in the ECL.
They are also eights in the Premier League and two points off the top four.
