Tottenham are working on deals to sign three news players on deadline day, Football Insider sources understand.
Spurs are confident of pushing through the signings of winger Kevin-Georges N’Koudou from Marseille and goalkeeper Pau Lopez from Espanyol.
A well-placed Spurs source has told Football Insider that manager Mauricio Pochettino also wants to add an attacking midfielder to the ranks.
Moussa Sissoko is one target for Tottenham although the club will not pay anywhere near Newcastle’s £35million valuation of the France international. Spurs value the 27-year-old at around the £20million mark.

Real Madrid sensation Isco is another possibility although Spurs have learned he would prefer to join another Spanish club.
The Londoners have made just two senior signings this summer in midfielder Victor Wanyama and striker Vincent Janssen while offloading a number of fringe players including Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, Nacer Chadli, Federico Fazio and Alex Pritchard.
Marseille winger N’Koudou dropped a big hint on Tuesday night that he will finally be unveiled as a Spurs player on Wednesday following extensive talks between Tottenham and Marseille over a protracted swap deal that involves Clinton N’Jie.
The Marseille man posted an image with the words of the Spurs motto “to dare is to do” on his personal Twitter account 24 hours before the transfer deadline.

N’Koudou and Lopez are in line to become Spurs’ third and fourth senior signings as Mauricio Pochettino continues to tweak the squad that finished third in last season’s Premier League.
But the manager wants a fifth signing as he prepares for another tilt at the title.
In other Tottenham transfer news, Pochettino has contacted a Spain international about a stunning deadline-day switch.
