Tottenham looking to strike deal with Chinese clubs for £30million attacker - report

Tottenham are looking to offload Moussa Sissoko to the Chinese Super League this summer, according to a report.
Bleacher Report claims Spurs are looking to sell the France international who cost a huge £30million from Newcastle last summer.
However, after a disappointing season, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are fully aware that they may struggle to recuperate the huge transfer fee from European clubs.
Chinese sides are known to pay over the odds for some of Europe’s biggest stars, which has seen former Premier League stars Ramires, Oscar and Graziano Pelle all move to Asia.
That could see Spurs manage to claim back all £30million for the 27-year-old winger, as the former Toulouse ace looks to end his Spurs nightmare.

Talks are said to have begun between Spurs and interested parties over a move for Sissoko, with the powerful ace said to be open to a move.
Tottenham’s number 17 failed to find the back of the net throughout the 2016-17 campaign, providing only four assists in his 34 league and cup appearances for the north London outfit.
Sissoko only started 12 of those matches, with competition in the likes of Dele Alli, Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen proving too much for the Euro 2016 finalist.
Despite having a huge four years still to run on his contract with Spurs, Sissoko could now depart with the Chinese Super League likely to be his new home.
Football Insider verdict:
If Spurs can pocket anywhere near the £30million they spent on Sissoko in the first place, then they should snap the hand off of any interested parties. The winger has been poor this season despite an impressive season and Euro 2016 campaign beforehand. Spurs will be keen to bolster their ranks in order to push for a Premier League title and to go one better in the Champions League, and removing dead wood such as Sissoko is key to achieving just that. Spurs could then use that money to re-enter the transfer window, with fans desperate to see Pochettino compete and bring a marquee signing to Wembley Stadium this summer.
